A demonstration of the upcoming machine simulation in HSMWorks.
The machine simulation is using 5 different SolidWorks parts for each of the machine axis, which allows users to modify existing machines or add new machines using standard SolidWorks part modelling features.

Overview of workflow in HSMWorks
This short video shows the overall workflow and interface of HSMWorks.
A part is loaded and a roughing and finishing toolpath are generated. After running the solid verification the toolpaths are post processsed using one of the supplied post processors.

Multitasking and Multiprocessor support in HSMWorks.
In this demo two parts are being worked on at the same time.
You can easily open multiple parts in HSMWorks and switch between them with no lose in performance. Whilst the toolpaths are being calculated on one part you can switch to another part and carry on working.

A demonstration of how to machine a 5-Axis chamfer using the upcoming 5-Axis Swarf strategy.
The part already has operations for roughing and for finishing the vertical and horizontal areas. In this video we are adding a 5-Axis Swarf operation for finishing the chamfer.

The New backplot in HSMWorks
This video shows a preview of the new backplot introduced with HSMWorks 2009.
The new backplot mode works on top of the SolidWorks model, and not only looks better, but also allows you to use all the ordinary model view functions such as splitting the screen.

Adaptive Irregular Stock
