System Requirements

Software

• Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista (64-bit (x64) versions supported).
• SolidWorks 2006 or newer (HSMWorks for SolidWorks only).
• Internet Explorer 6 or newer (IE 7 is recommended).
• NTFS File System is recommended.

Hardware

• 512 MB of main memory. 1 GB or more is recommended, especially if working with complex parts.
• A newer generation Intel Pentium, Core or AMD Athlon CPU. Dual/Quad core CPUs will be utilized when calculating toolpaths.
• A mouse with 3 or more buttons and a scroll wheel is recommended.
• Internet access is recommended.
• DVD-ROM Drive for installation of standalone version.
• One available USB 1.1 or 2.0 socket for licensing dongle.

HSMWorks is available in two versions:

• HSMWorks for SolidWorks
• HSMWorks Standalone

HSMWorks for SolidWorks, is available for customers who already have SolidWorks, and functions as an add-in in any existing SolidWorks 2006 or newer installation.
